About Tap Social Movement

Founded in 2016, Tap Social Movement grew out of a passion for good beer and social justice. We are a craft brewery which provides training courses for people serving prison sentences, offering courses in brewing and business start-up, and providing one-on-one support in securing permanent employment to assist in effective rehabilitation.

We make beers that we love to drink! As Oxfordshire’s first sour brewery and first keg-led brewery, we boast bold and innovative small-batch craft ales. Our heavily hopped and flavourful pales, and our ever-changing Belgian- and German-inspired seasonal sours have repeatedly won awards at beer festivals and in the press.

Our core range is an exciting mixture of hoppy pales, dark, Belgian, gluten-free and sour styles. We also source local fruits and herbs for limited edition or collaboration brews to keep our beer fresh and seasonal. We don’t use any finings to clear our beers, so they have a natural haze and are vegan-friendly. Our beers are served in bottle or keg.

In addition to our brewery, our premises holds our taproom and bottle shop which are open to the public and available for event hire.

Come meet the team, see our space and try our beers!
