Building work is nearing completion at Linden Homes’ Orwell Park location in Sutton Courtenay, where just two homes remain for sale.

Linden Homes is building 91 new homes at the development off Appleford Road that was formerly a plant and machinery hire depot, as well as contributing more than £600,000 towards infrastructure improvements in the area.

The final two properties available to reserve at the development are the four-bedroom Cottingham and five-bedroom Fletcher house types.

Alix Laflin, marketing manager for Linden Homes, said: “Orwell Park has delivered a range of new one to five-bedroom homes for people at different stages of the property ladder.

“We have taken a disused brownfield site and transformed it into a new neighbourhood which has provided not only 59 homes for the private market but also 32 affordable properties to allow local people who cannot afford to buy their own place the chance to secure a new home.

“We are now concentrating our efforts on completing building work here and welcoming the final residents into their new homes at this development, where we are seeing a brand-new community take shape.

“Residents who have already moved in love the location, just a short walk to the Thames Path or to the centre of the village, while it’s also been popular with commuters travelling into Oxford, about half an hour away, and Reading, about 45 minutes from home.”

Linden Homes is part of Vistry Group, which includes Bovis Homes and Countryside Homes.

The final two homes remaining for sale at Orwell Park are the four-bedroom Cottingham and five-bedroom Fletcher house types, with prices from £625,000.
