The Social Darts bar, Flight Club, celebrates 10 years of joy with a new venue in Oxford and kicks off year-long celebrations with an exciting competition.
Flight Club is celebrating its 10th anniversary with an exciting prize for its fans: the chance to have their game idea implemented across all 24 Flight Club venues worldwide, including Flight Club Oxford, along with an incredible trip for the lucky winner and three friends.
What better way to celebrate a decade of unexpected, ridiculous, joy than by inviting fans of the hugely popular Social Darts and cocktail bar to put their stamp on the global Flight Club experience? The OG of activity bars is setting out to design a brand-new game – currently known as ‘Game 7’ – and is calling on you to help.
Project ‘Game 7’ is the first in a year of treats from Flight Club in 2025. The fairground-inspired bar will kick off ‘FC10: 10 Years of Joy’, a year-long celebration of 10 years since the Flight Club team introduced Social Darts to the world.
You dream it, we’ll build it
There are currently six addictive games in Flight Club’s collection, from ‘Demolition’, where you aim to demolish your tower by scoring anywhere on the board, to ‘Snakes and Ladders’ – like the board game, but the dart is your dice. The most recent game to emerge from Flight Club’s in-house game design studio is Donkey Derby, where players aim to hit their donkey’s number to move forward. Now Flight Club is turning to its community of followers to shape the next hit game.
Those keen to scoop this amazing prize can submit their entries here from 27 January 2025. And there’s no need for any game design experience – just a fun idea for a game that groups of friends can enjoy together. Your entry should include; the game title and a few short sentences outlining the aim of the game. Think, how do I play? How do I score? And how do I win?
This is an opportunity not to be missed. Not only will you earn yourself eternal bragging rights when your game is launched for millions of players to enjoy worldwide, but you’ll also land a VIP trip for you and three friends to your choice of either Flight Club Sydney, Chicago, London or Dublin, for an epic night out where you’ll be one of the first to play your game in real life.

10 Years of Joy: From London’s Shoreditch to Sydney
Flight Club’s story began in a Devon pub when childhood friends Steve Moore and Paul Barham witnessed a group of people going wild over a game of darts. This wasn’t traditional darts, though; it was fun, fast-paced, and exciting—a true light-bulb moment. It sparked a vision: to reimagine the traditional pub game for a new generation.
They dreamed of creating an experience where friends, family, and colleagues could get together for a spectacular time, blending friendly competition with delicious food and cocktails in a vibrant, fairground-inspired bar setting.
The first Flight Club opened in London’s Shoreditch in 2015, revolutionising how friends connect and sparking a global boom in competitive socialising. A decade later, Flight Club has become a worldwide phenomenon, boasting 24 locations and growing.
