Oxford’s Broad Street will once again become a destination for food lovers later this month as Oxford Dine ‘N’ Devour returns for a three-day celebration of street food, artisan shopping and live entertainment.
Running from Friday 14 August to Sunday 16 August, the free event will feature a wide variety of independent food vendors, artisan traders and family-friendly attractions in the heart of the city.
Visitors can sample cuisine from around the world, including Greek gyros, Korean corn dogs, Mexican favourites, gourmet burgers, curries, dumplings, loaded fries and handmade desserts.
Alongside the food offering, dozens of artisan stalls will showcase jewellery, artwork, homeware, gifts, flowers, beauty products and handcrafted goods from independent businesses.
The event will also feature live entertainment throughout the weekend, including DJ performances and stilt walkers, helping to create a lively festival atmosphere in one of Oxford’s best-known public spaces.
Organisers expect the event to attract residents, shoppers, students and tourists alike, offering an opportunity to enjoy local independent businesses while spending time in the city centre during the summer holidays.
Hosted by family-run events company LSD Promotions, Oxford Dine ‘N’ Devour has become a regular fixture on the city’s events calendar, returning following the success of previous editions.
Connie Brettell, Marketing Assistant at LSD Promotions, said:
“We absolutely love bringing Dine ‘N’ Devour back to Oxford, and we know how much visitors enjoy the event every time we return.
Broad Street is the perfect location for a weekend celebration of incredible food, independent traders and a fantastic atmosphere. We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors to enjoy everything the event has to offer.”
With international cuisine, artisan shopping and entertainment throughout the weekend, Oxford Dine ‘N’ Devour offers a lively summer day out for families, food enthusiasts and anyone exploring Oxford city centre.
