Oxford will host one of the UK’s most anticipated technology gatherings this month when the Oxford Generative AI Summit 2025 takes place at Jesus College on 16 to 17 October.

Hosted by OxGen AI, the two-day event will bring together more than 200 leaders from business, government, academia, and the media to explore the rapid evolution and growing societal impact of generative AI.

The Summit will be held at the Cheng Kar Shun Digital Hub, a state-of-the-art venue within Cheng Yu Tung Building at Jesus College, University of Oxford.

The OxGen AI Summit is designed to foster multi-stakeholder dialogue on the future of AI through keynotes, panels, and fireside chats.

Over 50 distinguished speakers from the UK and around the world will share insights, including Matt Clifford CBE (Entrepreneurs First), James Manyika (Google and Alphabet), Kanishka Narayan MP (Department for Science, Innovation and Technology), Peter Hill (Synthesia), Euan Blair MBE (Multiverse), and Gina Neff (Minderoo Centre for Technology & Democracy),

Other distinguished speakers announced are, Nighat Dad (Oversight Board), Prashanth Chandrasekar (Stack Overflow), Professor Sir Nigel Shadbolt, Professor Philip Torr FRS FREng, Kenneth Cukier (The Economist), Dr Daniel Hulme (WPP and Satalia), and Professor Lord (Lionel) Tarassenko CBE FREng FMedSci.

The agenda will focus on two central themes: The Frontier of Generative and Agentic AI Adoption, examining how organisations can unlock value and stay ahead of developments; and Generative AI & Society, exploring how AI is transforming the way people work, learn, and create.

“As AI is increasingly integrated into our society and the economy, the OxGen AI Summit has emerged as a leading forum for leaders to share insights on how they are harnessing this technology and how it is transforming the ways we live and work,” said Cassidy Bereskin, founder of OxGen AI.

“AI is at a pivotal moment, as advancements accelerate at an ever-increasing rate,” added Cristina Lawrence, EVP, Consumer and Content Experience at Razorfish.

Other contributors include Mark Lippett, CEO of XMOS, who highlighted the growing importance of generative system design, and Neal Riley, AI Innovation Lead at The Adaptavist Group, who emphasised collaboration across sectors as essential to ensuring safe and beneficial AI.
