Leys Pools and Leisure Centre has officially opened a new outdoor Play Corridor designed to encourage children and families to be more active while moving around the site.
The new installation transforms an everyday pathway at the leisure centre into an interactive outdoor route using colourful ground markings and playful activity features.
The aim is to encourage movement in simple daily routines while making active travel around the centre more appealing for younger visitors and families.
The project forms part of wider efforts to improve physical activity and wellbeing across the local community.
Leisure Solutions Community Trust, which operates the centre in partnership with Serco Leisure, said the corridor reflects a shared commitment to creating more accessible opportunities for physical activity.

Adam Godwin said the new route demonstrates how simple creative spaces can help people move more as part of daily life.
The official opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony on 07 March attended by representatives from Oxford City Council, Active Oxfordshire and Leisure Solutions Community Trust.
Organisers said the final design was heavily influenced by local residents, who contributed ideas through surveys, community conversations and a street chalking session.
Chewe Munkonge said the project adds a colourful new feature to the leisure centre while helping make physical activity more accessible and enjoyable.
The Play Corridor is now open to residents, visitors and families using the centre and forms part of wider active community initiatives taking place across Oxford.
Leisure Solutions Community Trust manages five leisure facilities on behalf of Oxford City Council.
