Chopstix, a popular Asian-inspired quick service noodle bar, has reopened its newly refurbished store at Moto Cherwell Valley Services near Bicester following a full conversion from Chow, marking another step in the brand’s continued nationwide expansion.
The refreshed site, which officially reopened on 14 May, forms part of Chopstix’s wider programme of refurbishments and conversions across its growing UK estate. The brand now operates more than 140 locations nationwide, with a strong presence in high-footfall roadside, retail and city centre sites.
Located at Moto Cherwell Valley Services on the M40 at Junction 10, OX27 7RD, the upgraded store has been redesigned to offer a faster, more modern customer experience for the thousands of motorists and travellers passing through the busy service area each day.
Open seven days a week from 11.00am to 9.00pm, the site serves Chopstix’s signature menu of bold, Asian-inspired dishes designed for convenience without compromising on flavour.
Popular options include Sweet & Sour Chicken, Salt ’N’ Pepper Chicken, Chicken Katsu Curry, and the brand’s distinctive Firecracker Chicken, known for its spicy garlic and chilli seasoning.
The menu also features plant-based alternatives alongside favourites such as Caramel Drizzle Chicken, which has become a standout choice among regular customers.
The refurbishment reflects Chopstix’s ongoing investment in its estate, with a focus on improving customer flow, modernising store design, and enhancing the overall grab-and-go experience.
The conversion from Chow to Chopstix brings the site in line with the brand’s current look and operational model, supporting faster service during peak travel periods.

Rob King, CFO and Franchise Director at Chopstix, said the investment at Cherwell Valley demonstrates the brand’s commitment to continuously improving its customer offering.
“In each location that we invest in, we’re always looking at how we can improve the experience for our customers,” he said.
“The conversion from Chow to Chopstix at Moto Cherwell Valley Services is a great example of that, creating a fresh, modern space for customers to enjoy their favourite Chopstix dishes.”
He added that the reopening forms part of an exciting period of growth for the brand as it continues to expand and evolve across the UK.
Moto Hospitality also welcomed the refurbishment, highlighting the importance of improving choice and convenience for customers using its motorway services network.
A spokesperson for Moto Hospitality said: “We’re delighted to see the newly refurbished Chopstix store open at Cherwell.
“The refreshed space brings even more choice and convenience for the millions of drivers who stop with us each year, and it’s another great example of how we continue to invest in improving the customer experience across our sites.”
The reopening at Cherwell Valley Services underlines Chopstix’s strong momentum, following a series of new openings, refurbishments, and brand conversions across its UK portfolio.
The company continues to position itself as a leading player in the fast-casual dining sector, with a focus on delivering quick, flavour-led meals for customers on the move.
Chopstix is now firmly established as one of the UK’s most recognisable noodle bar brands, combining bold flavours, efficient service, and a menu designed for modern, fast-paced lifestyles.
