Known for their powerful and uplifting performances, the EAGA Gospel Choir recently won the prestigious BBC Songs of Praise Gospel Choir of the Year 2023 award.
The choir has captured the hearts of audiences across the country with their dynamic sound and infectious energy, and they are now bringing their powerful and uplifting performance to the intimate venue of the Holywell Music Room in Oxford.
Led by their talented musical director, the choir brings a unique blend of traditional and contemporary gospel music to life, inspiring and uplifting all who hear them.
Priced at £30.00, tickets can be obtained from the Tickets Oxford website or the box office on 01865 305 306. With less than 200 tickets available, it is anticipated that the concert will sell out fast.
The EAGA Gospel Choir are singing in support of The Unicorn School, Abingdon, which helps children with dyslexia, autism and other learning challenges.
The Unicorn School, Headmaster, Andrew Day, commented: “We are extremely grateful to the award-winning EAGA Gospel Choir who are singing in support of The Unicorn School.
“We are a small specialist school helping children aged from 7 to 16 who have dyslexia and other learning challenges from Oxon, Bucks and Berks.
“As a result of our individual one-to-one lessons and the amazing dedication of the staff now and over the past 30 years, nearly 700 children have been supported with strategies to overcome their learning difficulties and put them on a path to successful careers.”
This one-off concert will support the work that goes on at The Unicorn School, with all monies raised going towards a much-needed expansion of the school.
