Big Feastival has announced another wave of entertainment for this summer’s edition. The announcement includes more names for the music, culinary and family lineup across the festival’s diverse stages, including Natalie Imbruglia and Lightning Seeds.
Big Feastival, proudly presented by M&S Food, has announced additional entertainment for 2023, including more music for the Main Stage and entertainment across the festival’s diverse music and food stages.
It returns for its twelfth year at Alex James’ farm in the Cotswolds this summer bank holiday weekend, 25 to 27 August, offering festival goers a weekend of amazing live music, critically acclaimed chefs, award-winning food, and an unparalleled programme of family entertainment. Camping, Weekend and Day.
Joining Big Feastivals 2023 lineup is one of Australia’s most loved and successful artists, Natalie Imbruglia. Appearing on Friday, she first stole hearts over a quarter of a century ago with her chart-topping smash hit single “Torn”. Since then, she has released six studio albums, and in 2021 she made a triumphant return with her critically acclaimed, Top 10 album, Firebird.
After wowing crowds at Glastonbury, Lightning Seeds will also join the fun on the farm by taking to the stage on Friday. The Liverpudlian act produced one of the country’s most iconic anthems with 1996’s “Three Lions”, now solidly part of the nation’s hymn book – football fan or not. Audiences will enjoy a nostalgic, sing-along set led by the legendary Ian Broudie.
The sensational lineup also includes Tom Grennan, who recently clinched the number one UK album spot for the second time, Swedish singing sensation Sigrid, Brit Award nominees Blossoms, a jubilant Rick Astley from his recent Glastonbury performance, Spice Girl Melanie C, Everything Everything, The Vaccines, Eurovision entry Mae Muller, Newton Faulkner and many many more.
The Big Kitchen will be hosted by Steven Lamb, who will indulge the crowd with his valuable expertise in the art of curing and smoking food. Host of the hit podcast series Crazy Sexy Food, Hannah Harley Young, will lead proceedings for The Table Sessions.
The lineup for The Bandstand, presented by heycar, has also been revealed, which includes Tom A Smith, who has already received high praise from Sir Elton John and BBC Radio 1, family ravers Big Fish Little Fish, DJ Archie, who holds a Guinness World Record for being the World’s Youngest DJ, Oxfordshire’s DJ Dom’s Indie Disco, singer-songwriter Liv Aidam and Feastival-regulars and favourite Duke. The stage will also host disco yoga, swing patrol and dance classes across the weekend that’ll keep the whole family entertained.
After an incredible debut last year, the Sundown Saloon returns and will welcome the brilliant talents of Harley Moon Kemp, Jack Botts with his unique brand of surf folk, acoustic alt-folk duo Ida Mae and two impressive tribute acts, The Dolly Parton Experience and Shania Twain Tribute. The Americana-inspired area is set to offer barn dances for all ages and abilities and will really get audiences into the country spirit.
Feast on the Farm is back this year to offer a festival experience like never before. This year’s rustic dining experience is brought to you by the famous steak house, Pasture, who specialise in fire-based cooking and stunning flavours. Sit down for a three-course feast at lunch or dinner or fuel up for your day with an impressive brunch. Menus are available here.
Also new for 2023, The Fire Pit with Tito’s Handmade Vodka will see top chefs tame and manipulate smoke and flames to create lip smacking BBQ dishes. Taking part in The Fire Pit are British chef and founder of The Hidden Hut in Cornwall, Simon Stallard, talented North-London based chef and YouTube presenter Big Has, live fire and vegetarian BBQ expert Genevieve Taylor and long term Feastival collaborator DJ BBQ. The lineup continues with talented Indian chef Maunika Gowardhan, BBQ Better with Beef Golf & Jodie Johnston and Josh Katz.
They join an incredible lineup of chefs already announced to appear in The Big Kitchen across the weekend includingAsma Khan, Nathan Outlaw, Anna Haugh, Lisa Goodwin-Allen, Max La Manna, Becky Excell and Ching He Huang MBE.
Fans will also now get to see their favourite street food vendors in a brand-new setting as they take part in The Fire Pit live demonstrations, never seen before at the festival.
