Carousel Buses is offering a £4,000 joining bonus for new drivers ahead of its summer recruitment day for experienced and aspiring bus drivers.
The operator is encouraging existing PCV licence holders, as well as those looking to enter the profession, to attend the recruitment event, which is designed to fast-track applications and support immediate employment opportunities.
The recruitment day will take place between 10.00am and 3.00pm on Sunday 07 June at the Holiday Inn near the Handy Cross Roundabout in High Wycombe.
On the day, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the Carousel Buses management team, speak with current drivers, ask questions about the role, and progress through a streamlined recruitment process.
To take part in a full assessment on the day, applicants must bring a valid UK photocard driving licence and proof of eligibility to work in the UK. They are also advised to visit gov.uk/view-driving-licence in advance to generate a licence check code, which must be valid on the day as it expires after 72 hours.
Booking is recommended but not essential.
Carousel Buses, which operates more than 100 vehicles and employs over 200 people, has also strengthened its recruitment pathway through its VIP Bus Driver Academy.
Launched in January and based at the company’s High Wycombe depot, the academy provides structured, on-site training for new drivers entering the industry.
