Chipping Norton Pride will return later this month for its fourth annual celebration, with organisers promising its biggest and most colourful event yet.
Taking place on Saturday, 25 July 2026, this year’s event adopts the theme ‘Love Out Loud’, celebrating the support shown by local residents, businesses and allies while highlighting the LGBTQIA+ community at the heart of the charity’s work.
The free daytime programme will run from 11.00am to 5.00pm, featuring live performances, market and food stalls, community activities and the return of the event’s popular raffle.
An evening afterparty at Chipping Norton Town Hall will follow from 7.00pm, with tickets available separately.
Organisers have also partnered with Chipping Norton-based illustrator Luke Embden, who has created the official artwork and merchandise for this year’s celebrations.
Sean Vassen, chair of Chipping Norton Pride, said the event continues to grow thanks to support from across the community.
“We’re incredibly proud to be bringing Chipping Norton Pride back for its fourth year. ‘Love Out Loud’ is about celebrating the strength, warmth and diversity of our community – whether you’re part of the LGBTQIA+ community or a valued ally.
“Each year the support we receive grows louder and this year we want to reflect that by creating a celebration that’s more vibrant, more inclusive and more joyful than ever.”
The Mayor of Chipping Norton, Sandra Coleman, welcomed the event’s return, saying it continues to strengthen community connections across the town and surrounding villages.
She said: “Events like this do more than bring people together for celebration; they help foster understanding, strengthen connections, and create a sense of belonging that reaches far beyond the town itself.”
Established as a registered charity, Chipping Norton Pride supports LGBTQIA+ people across Chipping Norton and the wider Cotswolds through advocacy, education and community initiatives. This year the charity has also launched a monthly youth group based at Glyme Hall.
The evening entertainment will feature performances from Ada Campe, Lady B, Adam All, Apple Derrieres, Aaron Kavanagh and Cosmic Sanj.
