Banbury is set for a journey back to the golden age of American rock as Creedence Clearwater Review bring their acclaimed Cosmo’s Factory Tour to The Mill Arts Centre on Friday 31 July.
Celebrating the music of legendary rock pioneers Creedence Clearwater Revival, the show recreates the raw energy, swamp-rock sound and unmistakable spirit that defined an era of music history.
From the haze of Woodstock to the swamps of Louisiana, CCR’s catalogue captured the social and cultural pulse of America in the late 1960s and early 1970s, producing a string of enduring classics that continue to resonate across generations.

Audiences can expect a setlist packed with era-defining hits, including Proud Mary, Bad Moon Rising, Fortunate Son, Have You Ever Seen The Rain, Who’ll Stop The Rain and Down On The Corner. The performance also features faithful renditions of Suzie Q, I Heard It Through The Grapevine and I Put A Spell On You, rounding out a set that spans the breadth of CCR’s influential catalogue.
What sets Creedence Clearwater Review apart is their commitment to authenticity. Using vintage instruments, period-correct outfits and a meticulous attention to sonic detail, the band recreates not just the songs, but the atmosphere of a classic CCR live show.
The result is an immersive concert experience that transports audiences back to the height of American rock’s golden era.

Lead singer and guitarist Dale Taylor said:
“We don’t just play the songs, we aim to recreate the spirit and atmosphere of a real Creedence Clearwater Revival show. It’s about celebrating the music, the era and the incredible connection these songs continue to have with audiences today.”
The group has built a strong reputation across the UK and Europe, even performing for guests of CCR frontman John Fogerty at London’s O2 Arena — a notable endorsement of their dedication to authenticity and musicianship.
Whether discovering CCR through vinyl collections, radio airplay or family playlists, audiences in Banbury can expect an evening of nostalgia, musicianship and full-throttle singalong moments. The Cosmo’s Factory Tour forms part of a wider UK run bringing the band’s timeless catalogue to theatres and venues nationwide.
The tour lands in Banbury for one night only, promising a celebration of music, memory and the enduring legacy of one of rock’s most influential bands.
