Follow in the tyre tracks of F1 legends Lewis Hamilton, George Russell and Lando Norris as Silverstone’s Lap of Lights returns by popular demand this winter — transforming the home of British motorsport into a glittering celebration of speed, light, and Christmas spirit.

Running from 12 December 2025 to 03 January 2026, this unique festive spectacular turns the world-famous Grand Prix circuit into one of the world’s largest illuminated drive-through trails. Back and brighter than ever, the event promises an unforgettable experience where motorsport heritage meets holiday enchantment.

Visitors can drive their own car around the legendary track, following a dazzling route of ten immersive light installations, 35 lasers, and more than 7,000 LED panels. Each zone reacts as cars pass by, set to the soundtrack of ELF FM, blending Christmas classics with racing-inspired beats.

Highlights along the route include:

  • Glittering Gateway, through the iconic Copse Corner
  • Sledspeed Straight, charging through Maggots and Becketts
  • Fastest Lapland, the festive finale down the Hamilton Straight

After completing the illuminated circuit, guests can continue the fun at Ice Trak, Silverstone’s rink that glides through the iconic Formula 1 garages. Then, head to the Festive Food and Drink Garage, where seasonal favourites like German sausages, mince pies, mulled wine and hot chocolate await.

Perfect for families, groups, and motorsport fans alike, Lap of Lights also offers the chance to tick off the Christmas list with exclusive Silverstone merchandise — ideal for unique stocking fillers and gifts.

Tickets start from £50 per car, covering everyone inside, while Ice Trak skating sessions can be added from just £8.45 per person.

With demand expected to be high, visitors are encouraged to book early to secure their place at this unmissable festive drive-through experience — where the thrill of the racetrack meets the magic of Christmas.
