UK Vein Clinic has expanded its services with the opening of a new clinic in Bicester, aiming to improve access to specialist vein treatment across Oxfordshire.
The move forms part of the clinic’s wider UK growth strategy, responding to increasing demand for timely, consultant-led care for venous conditions. By establishing a presence in Bicester, the provider seeks to reduce travel times and waiting periods for patients in areas where specialist services are limited.
Varicose and thread veins affect a significant proportion of the population, with at least one in three people in the UK experiencing symptoms. If left untreated, these conditions can lead to discomfort such as pain, heaviness and swelling, and in more severe cases may result in complications including leg ulcers or Deep vein thrombosis.
Founded in 2020 by a team of vascular specialists, UK Vein Clinic focuses on delivering evidence-based care using advanced diagnostics and minimally invasive techniques. The organisation’s model is designed to support faster treatment while easing pressure on NHS services.

The new Bicester clinic will offer a comprehensive range of services, including vascular doctor-led consultations, diagnostic duplex ultrasound scans, and treatments such as radiofrequency ablation and foam sclerotherapy for varicose veins. Microsclerotherapy will also be available for thread veins, alongside structured aftercare and follow-up support.
This approach aims to ensure accurate diagnosis and personalised treatment plans, allowing patients to return to daily activities with minimal disruption.
Ed Sideso, Consultant Vascular Surgeon at UK Vein Clinic, said: “We’re proud as clinicians to be supporting patients in Bicester and Oxfordshire, helping to improve access to specialist varicose vein care. Our focus is always on understanding how symptoms affect everyday life and delivering treatment that helps each individual patient feel more comfortable, confident, and supported.”
Founder Jason Powell added: “This expansion represents a major milestone for UK Vein Clinic. With patient demand for specialist vein care continuing to rise, our goal is to bring expert, consultant-led treatment closer to more communities – ensuring people can get back to feeling their most confident and healthy self and back doing the things they love most.”
The Bicester opening marks another step in the organisation’s ongoing expansion, with further regional clinics planned nationwide.
