Welbeck Oxford is a brand-new state-of-the-art medical centre set to open in North Oxford.

Welbeck Health Partners has announced that it will open its newest state-of-the-art private medical centre in Oxford. Welbeck Oxford will offer residents of Oxfordshire and visitors to the city access to private healthcare experience.

The new centre, to be based in Jordan Hill in North Oxford, will offer a complete suite of medical services and cater to 12 different specialities, including heart health, lung health, digestive health, ENT, Endoscopy and Neurology.

The group is investing more than £30 million into the Oxford site to fund the development, infrastructure and cutting-edge technology to put it at the forefront of private healthcare in the county.

Welbeck Health Partners is a partnership of leading healthcare specialists and clinicians that was founded to transform patient care through the use of new technologies that detect disease earlier and enable minimally invasive interventions, with the patient returning home the same day.

It is committed to investing in the highest quality staff and industry-leading infrastructure to deliver the best patient experiences and outcomes.

The group is particularly focused on preventative healthcare and is constantly innovating to enable patients to receive treatment and return home to recover on the same day.

“We are pleased to announce the planned opening of Welbeck Oxford as part of our expansion across the UK,” said Andrew Chadwick-Jones, CEO of Welbeck Health Partners.

“Oxford is a globally renowned hub for medical research and healthcare excellence. We have been looking at expansion opportunities for some time and the quality of talent that already exists within the community of healthcare professionals in the city made it a desirable destination for us.

We have the ambition to partner with the renowned Oxford medical professionals to improve the health provision in the local area, and develop Oxford as a health destination nationally and internationally”

Welbeck Health Partners currently has a flagship location in London and plans to open regional centres across the UK. OneWelbeck, which opened in London in 2019, currently works with more than 350 industry-leading clinicians and sees more than 100,000 patients anually, providing a full service of specialities.

Welbeck Oxford, which is due to open next year, will be the first centre to open outside London.

“The success of OneWelbeck proved that there is a growing demand for private healthcare that has a patient-centred approach,” said Mr Chadwick-Jones.

“Our aim is to deliver the highest standards of patient care across the UK and Internationally which we believe starts with partnering with world-class clinicians who truly understand the needs of their patients.”

Welbeck Health Partners operates in partnership with clinicians to harness their expertise and investment in the highest quality facilities for patients.

As partners, clinicians oversee the management and long-term strategy of the centres, allowing them to make informed decisions on the services and infrastructure needed to best serve patients in their communities.

Mr Chadwick-Jones added: “We believe our commitment to innovation, best practices and patient centred care will help set us apart in Oxford and we hope it will become the go to private healthcare centre in the region, Nationally and in due course Internationally.”
