Y.O.U Underwear launches pink collection for breast cancer charity
Pink Future Dreams Collection by Y.O.U Underwear in collaboration with breast cancer charity Future Dreams.

Ahead of National Pink Day on 23 June, Y.O.U Underwear, creators of sustainable underwear, is launching its pink Future Dreams Collection in collaboration with breast cancer charity Future Dreams.

One pound (£1) of every purchase from the range will be donated to Future Dreams, and an information leaflet about self-checking your breasts will be included with every order.

This collaboration will help fund research projects, support those touched by breast cancer and raise awareness to encourage self-checking. Every 10 minutes, a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK, and a survey by Breast Cancer Now revealed that 10% of women never check their breasts.

Y.O.U Underwear’s new Future Dreams Collection includes bralettes, thongs, bikinis and two boy short styles in their women’s underwear range. The bralettes are available in sizes XS-L, and the underwear styles are available in UK size 6 to 22. Prices start from £12.

All Y.O.U underwear is Fairtrade, PETA-approved vegan and made from 100% GOTS Certified Organic Cotton and produced by India’s leading ethical and sustainable manufacturer, which operates under SA8000 social standards.

Sarah Jordan, the founder of Y.O.U Underwear, said: “The moment I discovered Future Dreams and the amazing work they do to support people affected by breast cancer, I wanted to help. My Mum had breast cancer a few years ago, and it is prevalent in my family, so this collaboration is really personal for me. I love our new soft pink colour, and I hope it’s really popular so we can make a meaningful difference to Future Dreams.”

Sam Jacobs, Trustee of Future Dreams, said: “We are thrilled and grateful to be collaborating with Y.O.U Underwear for this special campaign. It is wonderful to partner with a sustainable, vegan and organic brand which is making a powerful contribution to society, the economy and communities alike whilst raising funds for those touched by breast cancer and generating awareness about the importance of self-checking”.

Y.O.U Underwear has already donated more than 16,000 pairs of underwear via its flagship buy-one-give-two model to Smalls for All. This collaboration with Future Dreams aims to expand the impact of the brand even further, and through supporting Future Dreams intends to increase breast cancer awareness, encourage self-checking and support further research.

Y.O.U Underwear is an Oxford-based sustainable fashion brand founded by Sarah Jordan in 2017. During a trip to Uganda in 2016, Sarah became aware of the many problems faced by women and girls who don’t have access to underwear. All Y.O.U underwear is Fairtrade, PETA-approved vegan and made from 100% GOTS Certified Organic Cotton, and they work with India’s leading ethical and sustainable manufacturer, which operates under SA8000 social standards.

Y.O.U Underwear was the Gold Winner in the ‘Start-up of the Year’ category of the One Planet Awards. Sarah has been named one of the UK’s most 100 inspirational female entrepreneurs by Small Business Britain’s f:Entrepreneur ‘#ialso100’ campaign.

Future Dreams was founded by mother and daughter Sylvie Henry and Danielle Leslie, who were both diagnosed with the disease. They never wanted anyone to feel like they were going through breast cancer alone. The charity funds vital research and works with the NHS to distribute care packages to those going through treatment and donating post-surgery bras to those who cannot afford them.
