Bike Oxford 2025
Bike Oxford 2025 powered by Penningtons Manches will be hosted at Oxford University Rugby Club on Sunday, 22 June, and welcomes riders of all ages and abilities from all parts of the community.
The event, with real community spirit, is championed by Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council as a way to encourage active transport and a healthy lifestyle. It aims to attract over 800 cyclists who will complete rides of varying distances.
There will be a choice of four routes, 13, 25, 50 and 78 miles long. Starting with a lap of historic Oxford the routes then head north / northwest into the picturesque Oxfordshire countryside with the long route reaching into the Oxfordshire Cotswolds.
Iconic Cycling Events is collaborating with Cyclability Oxford again to ensure the Bike Oxford weekend will be a fully inclusive sportive event.
There will also be an adapted cycling event taking place at the Horspath Athletics track in a safe, traffic-free environment. With their extensive range of adapted cycles, tandems, side-by-sides, tricycles, recumbent bikes and even a wheelchair transporter, Wheels for All Oxford has something for everyone.
The 2025 event is once again supporting Maggie’s, Oxford. Their beautiful Treehouse and kind cancer support specialists offer a safe and healing space for anyone affected by cancer. There is the opportunity to add a donation to Maggie’s at the point of registration, and riders are encouraged to fundraise.
