Food lovers and music enthusiasts are being invited to slow down their Sundays with a refined dining experience as the Crazy Bear in Stadhampton continues its popular Sunday Jazz in the Glasshouse series.
The iconic hotel and restaurant is pairing a classic three-course Sunday roast with the smooth sounds of live jazz, creating an indulgent afternoon designed to delight the senses.
Held every second Sunday of the month, the event launched in November and has already proven a hit with guests, with bookings available through until May 10.
Guests are treated to a live performance from jazz band Sepha, fronted by London-based vocalist Rosie, who has previously performed alongside artists including Camila Cabello, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Jess Glynne. The band performs from midday to 5pm, providing a relaxed soundtrack as diners enjoy their meal in the Glasshouse setting.
Florentina Ionita, Event Sales Coordinator at Crazy Bear, said: “Sunday Jazz in the Glasshouse has been a rip-roaring success since its launch in November, with three hugely popular events hosted.
“The smooth and soulful sounds of Sepha have been savoured by guests, who have slowed down their Sundays and indulged the senses.
“All of this is combined with locally sourced meats from trusted farms, perfectly roasted vegetables from local growers, and homemade Yorkshire puddings with all the traditional trimmings.

“The Crazy Bear is the place in Oxfordshire to unwind and enjoy a Sunday with family and friends, and tickets are selling fast for this weekend, so we’re urging customers to get them while they can.”
The three-course menu begins with starters such as ham hock terrine, Armagnac home cured salmon, wild mushroom arancini and fire roasted courgette.
Roast main courses include roasted dry-aged striploin of beef, slow-roast pork belly and slow-cooked half chicken, all served with traditional accompaniments. Vegetarian and seafood options include Jerusalem artichoke gnocchi and pan seared seabass fillet.
Desserts range from Earl Grey and chestnut burnt cheesecake to sticky toffee pudding, vanilla crème brûlée and sorbets, complemented by a selection of teas and freshly ground coffee.
Adults dine for £39.95, with children under 12 priced at £34.95. The Crazy Bear continues to expand its dining offer, with its Oak restaurant and newly refurbished Thai restaurant also welcoming guests.
