The Chequers Inn offers you a beautiful 17th century Inn in a country setting as well as Michelin recommended dining. The pub itself is full of character and charm and offering a traditional cosy interior with open fires in the winter months, a private dining room, a large garden complete with kids play area and garden games as well as ample space to relax, drink and dine.
You will discover a deliciously fresh and creative menu from chef and proprietor Mark Duggan combining traditional classic pub dishes with modern cooking methods. We also bake our own artisan bread, some homegrown produce features on our menus and we use local produce where possible such as pork from nearby Watlington.
Situated in the picturesque village of Berrick Salome, in rural Oxfordshire, close to Benson and Wallingford, a 15-minute drive from the M40 and 20-minute drive from Oxford or Reading and Henley-on-Thames
