Classical soprano Ava Reineke will present an evening of opera and art song at The Bottle and Glass Barn, bringing together emerging talent, established musicians and a strong community focus in support of Henley Music School.
Currently in her final year of undergraduate study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Ava studies under Sophie Grimmer and has built a broad and adventurous performance portfolio.
Her work at Trinity has ranged from improvisation and performance art ensembles to Spanish and Nordic opera projects, showcasing her versatility and developing artistic identity.
Before Trinity, Ava spent three years at the Junior Royal Academy of Music, where she appeared in roles including Hansel in Hansel and Gretel, Alma in the world premiere of Green Man Ho, and Yum-Yum in The Mikado.
She has performed at major venues such as Cologne Cathedral, Garsington Opera, the Old Naval Chapel and Oxford’s Sheldonian Theatre, and recently appeared with Blackheath Halls Opera as Priestess 2 and Soprano Chorus Leader.

The recital programme spans five languages — German, French, Italian, Spanish and English — and features works by composers including Mozart, Wolf, Debussy, Ravel and Puccini, alongside English composers Liza Lehmann and Libby Larsen.
Ava will be joined for duets by Lara Johnson-Perkins and by violinist Laura Reineke, founder of Henley Music School.
Pianist Alison Wilkins, a long-standing and much-loved teacher at Henley Music School, will accompany the performance. The concert will last approximately one hour with a 15-minute interval, and guests will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of bubbly on arrival.
A bar menu will be available throughout the evening, with audiences encouraged to stay and socialise afterwards.
Ava Reineke is a founding member of Henley Music School, a local charity dedicated to ensuring that all children can access high-quality music education regardless of background or financial circumstance.
The charity works directly in schools, delivers inclusive community programmes and operates a bursary scheme for young people who would otherwise be unable to afford lessons or instruments.
At a time when many small arts organisations face funding challenges, events such as this concert play a vital role in sustaining Henley Music School’s work and supporting future generations of young musicians.
Tickets are available via Eventbrite.
