The Charity for Civil Servants has been announced as a sponsor of Psychological Safety Week 2025, the first global initiative dedicated to creating workplaces where people feel safe to speak up, collaborate and thrive.
Running from 22 to 26 September, the initiative was founded by business psychologists Pearn Kandola and is also sponsored by the Financial Times. Its aim is to raise awareness of psychological safety as a driver of inclusion, innovation and wellbeing.
Professor Binna Kandola OBE, Co-founder and Senior Partner at Pearn Kandola, said:
“Charity for Civil Servants’ mission to help current, former and retired civil servants overcome life’s challenges and thrive aligns with our own mission of making the world fairer. We are delighted to have their support as sponsors for Psychological Safety Week.”
Jonathan Freeman, CEO of the Charity for Civil Servants, added:
“We are thrilled to be supporting Psychological Safety Week, a vital new initiative to build more resilient and effective workplaces.
“Pearn Kandola has an unrivalled track record in promoting inclusive and powerful leaders and organisations and I’m delighted we can support this important new initiative of theirs.”
The partnership will also extend into October, when the charity hosts its free, virtual Mental Health and Wellbeing Conference 06 to 10 October in partnership with Government People Group and Boundless.
This event will build on the themes of resilience, trust and empowerment promoted during Psychological Safety Week.
The Charity for Civil Servants, which supports current, former and retired civil servants through life’s challenges, says the collaboration demonstrates its commitment to embedding trust, kindness and resilience in the civil service and beyond.
