Local housebuilder Croudace Homes brought festive cheer to Cutteslowe Primary School this December by sponsoring an arts and crafts stall at the school’s annual Christmas fair.

The event, held on 05 December and organised by the school’s PTA, marked the start of the festive season for pupils, parents and staff.

As part of its involvement, Croudace Homes hosted a Christmas bauble workshop, giving children the opportunity to design and decorate their own festive decorations to take home and hang on their Christmas trees. The activity proved popular with pupils and added an extra creative element to the much-loved annual event.

Cutteslowe Primary School’s Christmas fair featured a wide range of festive attractions, including a Father Christmas Grotto, a Christmas raffle and various arts and crafts stalls, bringing together the school community for an afternoon of seasonal celebration.

Gillian McDermott, Headteacher at Cutteslowe Primary School, said:
“Christmas is always a special time at Cutteslowe Primary School. It brings together our pupils, the teachers and parents and we are glad that Croudace Homes was able to add something extra to our annual tradition. It was lovely to see the children enjoying the event and making something magical to take home.”

Croudace Homes is currently delivering its Priory Grove development on Banbury Road in St Frideswide, Oxford, located just one mile from the school. The housebuilder says supporting local initiatives is an important part of its approach to creating thriving communities.

Stuart Elvidge, Sales and Marketing Director for Croudace North Thames, commented:

“Croudace Homes is not just committed to providing new high-quality homes, but also creating a lasting impact on the communities where we build. It was very heartwarming to see the children creating their own festive baubles, so we are glad that we have had an opportunity to make their Christmas fair a little more special and memorable thanks to our nearby Priory Grove development.”

Designed around nature, Priory Grove will dedicate over 20 per cent of its site to open space, including three play areas, 2,000 square metres of new wildflower planting and a range of ecological enhancements such as bird and bat boxes, hedgehog fencing, hedgehog domes and bug hotels.

The development benefits from strong transport links, with Oxford Parkway station just half a mile away, offering regular services to London Marylebone in one hour and 12 minutes, alongside easy access to the A34 and A40.

Homes at Priory Grove range from one- to four-bedroom properties, with prices starting from £375,000 for a one-bedroom apartment.
