Henley Festival 2020 Classical Music Programme Announced

Henley Festival returns with the 39th edition of its classical music programme – A Classical Salute, an evening of classical and military music – performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Henley Festival returns from 08 to 12 July 2020 with the 39th edition of its classical music programme.

Classic FM’s A Classical Salute, an evening of classical and military music performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Stephen Bell, will take place on Thursday 12 July, presented by Myleene Klass.

During the evening, the RPO will be joined by military musicians including Ceremonial Trumpeters for Verdi’s Grand March from Aida, a band of Military Drummers for Ravel’s Bolero and uniformed pipers for Highland Cathedral by Roever.

Joined by internationally renowned soloists, the orchestra will present a programme to include Bizet’s Carmen, Rule Britannia and Goodwin’s 633 Squadron.
