Over £5,000 was raised for an Oxford charity over the festive period by customers of Perch Inn in Binsey and Mamma Mia Pizzerias in Summertown and Jericho.
The owners of the Perch Inn in Binsey and Mamma Mia Pizzerias in Summertown and Jericho have raised over £5,000 for charity in their annual festive charity collection.
Every year, during the month of December, the restaurants ask for a voluntary donation of £1 per table reservation, with the restaurants then matching the customer donations pound for pound.

This year Customers dug deep to raise £2,712 in total, with the restaurants then matching the donations, meaning a total of £5,424. The funds raised have been donated to Helen & Douglas House Hospice.
Jon Ellse, Managing Director of Fully City Limited, which runs the restaurants, said: “Our festive donations have been a tradition in our restaurants for many years now, and it’s great to see our customers continue to support them, despite the tough year we’ve all had.

“To date, we’ve raised and donated over £40,000. We want to say a big thank you to our customers for not only supporting us, but also our chosen charity – Helen and Douglas House.”
