Savills Oxford has raised £71,000 for Survivor Space, the only accredited specialist organisation providing support for survivors of sexual violence across Oxfordshire.

The fundraising total was achieved through a year-long programme of activities organised by the firm’s two Oxford teams during 2025.

Staff took part in a wide range of initiatives, including a rowing challenge that saw teams virtually row the English Channel twice, alongside bake sales, a table football league and an auction of promises. The auction invited colleagues to bid on donated time, skills and extra-curricular expertise offered by members of the team.

The funds will play a vital role in enabling Survivor Space to continue expanding its trauma-informed services, ensuring survivors across the county can access specialist support free of charge and without long waiting lists.

Zoe White, a director in the Savills Residential Sales office who led the fundraising effort, said:

“I am absolutely thrilled to have raised such a significant amount of money for Survivor Space. The result is thanks to each and every person who got behind the fundraising and I am hugely proud of our collective achievement.”

Survivor Space provides support to adult and child survivors aged 14 and over, of all genders, who have experienced rape, sexual abuse or any form of sexual violence, whether recent or historic.

Over the past year, the charity delivered 1,982 counselling sessions and 5,428 Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) sessions, while also supporting 715 survivors through one-to-one services and hosting 335 attendances at group sessions.

Lauren Kendall, CEO of Survivor Space, said:

“We are profoundly grateful for the extraordinary support of Savills Oxford. £71,000 is a transformative total and represents far more than a number – it helps us provide a lifeline for survivors across Oxfordshire.

“The teams’ generosity has helped us to reduce counselling waiting lists, strengthen our services at a critical time, and expand our programmes. Every event organised, challenge completed, and donation made has created meaningful, lasting change, thank you all, so much!”

In addition to direct services, Survivor Space continues to deliver education and prevention work, with specialist training on sexual violence awareness, sexual harassment awareness and consent reaching more than 1,500 people over the past year.

Gemma Chandler, head of Savills Oxford, said:

“It is a genuine privilege to have the opportunity to meaningfully support the important, life-changing work of Survivor Space Oxfordshire, which is a lifeline for many people within our community.”
