Summertown Stars, a junior football team in Oxford, has adopted a new look this season after its coaches formalised a new partnership with ISIS Removals and Storage.
Summertown Stars operates over 60 teams for boys and girls in every age group from U6s upwards and has over 800 playing members, making it the county’s largest youth football club.
Its U11s team – Summertown Stars Stingrays – has taken fresh delivery of new playing and training kits after teaming up with the city-based removals firm.
Based at the Cowley Business Centre, the firm specialises in large-scale and office removals, overseas moving, long-storage, and man and van services.
But its team has swapped boxes and containers for boots and goalposts after Stingrays’ youth team were presented with their shining new kit, which they will sport in the Oxfordshire Youth Football League.
Peter Jamieson, Vice Chair at Summertown Stars, was pleased to welcome the ISIS Removals and Storage team onboard.
“It can be too easy to focus on results as being the key driver in what makes sport and wider participation special to people,” said Peter. “In reality, how football brings people together to learn new skills and make new connections is what we love.
“We’re always grateful when any Oxfordshire business recognises this, and we’re pleased to have ISIS Removals onboard as a partner this season. Summertown Stars is a huge operation with a proud history, and we’re continually looking out for new members so encourage any football-mad youngsters based locally to come along.”
The partnership is a demonstration of ISIS Removals’ investment into the community its team has served for over 10 years.

The squad’s players were happy with their shirts, too.
Thomas, a player aged 11, said: “I love my new shirt – it looks really cool! I’m proud to be a Stingray and am really enjoying the season so far.”
