Set in the heart of the Cotswolds, The Feathered Nest Country Inn is set to welcome a lively summer season that will blend relaxed countryside dining with a curated programme of live events, outdoor hospitality and seasonal culinary experiences, all framed by its hillside setting above the Evenlode Valley and its reputation as a modern British inn rooted in seasonality and place.
Across the summer months, the terrace will become a focal point for long evenings and informal gatherings, with live music performances, BBQ dining and seasonal service designed to make the most of the surrounding Cotswold views. From late May through to August, a series of scheduled events will bring together local musicians and relaxed outdoor hospitality, creating a rhythm shaped by warm evenings and open-air dining.
Highlights will include live music evenings on the terrace, Sunday BBQ and music sessions across June, July and August, and a Bank Holiday celebration at the end of the summer season, each designed to pair open-air dining with live entertainment in a relaxed social setting.

Alongside the outdoor programme, the summer calendar will also feature a curated Supper Club experience in early June, pairing a bespoke seasonal menu with wines from Keermont in South Africa, continuing the inn’s focus on producer-led dining and international collaboration.
The Feathered Nest’s culinary direction will continue to be led by Head Chef James Erasmus, with menus rooted in British produce and evolving in line with seasonality and availability. Guests will be able to choose from tasting menus, à la carte dining and traditional Sunday roasts, supported by an award-winning wine list.
The inn will also continue to operate as a countryside retreat, with boutique rooms and a cottage offering overnight stays that extend visits into longer Cotswolds escapes. The bar and pub space will remain a central gathering point, shifting naturally from fireside winter evenings to relaxed summer afternoons overlooking the valley.
Taken together, the programme will reinforce The Feathered Nest’s position as a destination where dining, landscape and hospitality converge, offering guests a reason to return throughout the summer season.
