Italian restaurant chain Zizzi is welcoming the warmer months early with the launch of a new Spring and Summer menu, featuring more than 15 new dishes inspired by seasonal ingredients.
To celebrate the menu launch, the restaurant group is offering 30% off food until 26 March, allowing guests to enjoy the new dishes while getting into the summer spirit ahead of the season.
The updated menu introduces a range of seasonal specials, including Hot Honey Pork Belly, Crab & Lemon Arancini, Chicken Milanese Fonduta and the Quattro Pomodoro Rustica Pizza.
Dessert and drinks also feature tropical flavours designed for the warmer months. Highlights include the Tropical Piña Colada Sundae, made with coconut and lime gelato, vanilla gelato, whipped cream, pineapple purée, pink meringue and dried raspberries.
Guests can also try refreshing drinks such as the Mango & Lime Cooler, which blends mango, orange, lemon and Persian lime with soda and a smoked paprika salt rim, or the Sunset Mango Margarita, combining tequila with citrus and mango flavours.
The main menu also introduces three new salads: Chicken Caesar Salad, Salmon & Heritage Tomato Salad and Butter Bean Salad, the latter being vegan.
Several new pasta dishes have been added, including Pesto Rosso, a casareccia pasta served with creamy red pesto, mascarpone sauce and spicy chicken breast.
A new sharing version of the Truffle Carbonara is also available, featuring mafaldine pasta with four-cheese, black pepper and truffle sauce, topped with crispy prosciutto, pancetta and a Riserva cheese crisp.
Following strong demand, the Vegan Rainbow Lasagne has returned to the menu. The dish includes layers of butternut squash, spinach, beetroot and red onion with slow-cooked tomato sauces, Genovese pesto and pangrattato crumb.
Another vegan addition is the Raspberry Collins Cheesecake, which features a raspberry and gin-layered cheesecake served with strawberry sorbet and coulis.
Seasonal Isle of Wight Heritage tomatoes take centre stage across several dishes, including Burrata Caprese, Bruschetta Classica and the Favourites Sharing Board.
For those keen to sample the new menu, Zizzi is offering 30% off food from 5.00pm Sunday to 5.00pm Friday until 26 March, excluding Mother’s Day. The promotion is available for dine-in customers only.
Founded more than 25 years ago, Zizzi has grown from a single neighbourhood restaurant to a nationwide chain with more than 130 locations across the UK.
