Any new two stars restaurant in Oxfordshire in the Michelin Guide UK 2020 will be joining the Raymond Blanc’s Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons in Great Milton which gained its Michelin stars in 1984, and currently the only two Michelin star restaurant in Oxfordshire.
Any new one stars restaurant in the Michelin Guide UK 2020 will join the Nut Tree Inn pub in Murcott, near Bicester which celebrated its 10th year of being awarded a Michelin star, and The Oxford Kitchen in Summertown which was awarded its one star in the 2019 guide.
The Wild Rabbit in Kingham once held one Michelin star but lost it in the 2018 guide due to departure of Tim Allen as head chef. The Sir Charles Napier in Chinnor also lost its Michelin star in the 2018 guide four years after it received it.
