The Crazy Bear in Stadhampton is inviting guests to indulge in flirtatious fun and romance this Valentine’s weekend with two distinctive events: a glamorous Masquerade Ball and an elegant Valentine’s Day Dinner.

Kicking off the celebrations on Friday 13 February, the Masquerade Ball promises an evening of mystery, music and spectacle, making it the ultimate pre-Valentine’s treat.

Guests can expect a high-energy night featuring live performances and jaw-dropping choreography from Duo Durran, the acrobatic act that captivated audiences on Britain’s Got Talent and earned the golden buzzer on Slovakia’s Got Talent.

The evening will be hosted by cabaret star Ruby St James, who will guide guests through the night with her trademark charm and wit. Renowned for her Hollywood-style glamour and dazzling stage presence, she is set to deliver an unforgettable show at the Crazy Bear.

Leading man Nate Simpson will also perform on the night, bringing his soulful voice and jazz style to the Masquerade Ball. His credits include appearances on the West End and The X Factor, as well as roles portraying Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder in Motown: The Musical and Simba in The Lion King.

Guests will enjoy a signature Crazy Bear Thai and English buffet served between 7.00pm and 10.00pm. Dishes include red chicken breast curry, sweet and sour prawns and vegetable pad Thai, alongside slow roasted beef sirloin and cumin baked butternut squash.

A house DJ will then keep the party going from 10.00pm until 1.00am, with a smart dress code completing the stylish affair.

On Saturday 14 February, Crazy Bear will host its romantic Valentine’s Day Dinner in the Glasshouse, offering couples an intimate evening of live music and fine dining.

The carefully curated three-course English menu includes starters such as chicken and leek ballotine, cured trout, whipped goat’s cheese or seared hand-dived scallops.

Main courses range from roasted chicken supreme and pan roasted cod loin to wild mushroom ragu or ribeye steak, followed by desserts including heart-shaped chocolate delice, Madagascar vanilla mousse, classic vanilla crème brûlée, sorbets or local British cheeses.

West End leading lady Elly Jay will create a wonderful atmosphere across both nights with her live singing. Having starred in productions such as Pretty Woman: The Musical, Burlesque The Musical and Ghost, she will serenade guests with her soothing voice.

Florentina Ionita, Event Coordinator at Crazy Bear Stadhampton, said: “We are really looking forward to this year’s Valentine’s weekend and welcoming guests for our calendar of fun, romantic events.

“Whether you are looking for an intimate, romantic occasion with someone special or to have some fun with friends at the Masquerade Ball, Crazy Bear is the place to be.

“From Valentine’s to Galentine’s, however you like to celebrate, join us at the Crazy Bear for some flirtatious fun.”

Tickets for the Masquerade Ball are priced at £89.50, with the Valentine’s Day Dinner costing £69.00.
