The Crazy Bear in Stadhampton is introducing a new interactive pub quiz night designed to get contestants singing, drawing and laughing.
The cocktail quiz nights will take place on the second Monday of each month from 09 March, bringing an energetic and creative spin to the traditional pub quiz format. Alongside classic knowledge rounds, the evenings will feature an artistic challenge for those with creativity and flair, as well as a lively music round.
Hosted by actor and burlesque artist Giddy Heights, the event will be staged across the Crazy Bear’s countryside pub and adjoining freshly refurbished Thai restaurant, adding theatrical flair to the Oxfordshire venue’s growing midweek programme.
Running from 8.00pm to 10.00pm, teams of between two and six people can enter for £10 per group. Food service will be available throughout the evening, and prizes will be awarded to both winners and runners-up.

Guy Leighton-Rees, Events Manager at the Crazy Bear, said: “We can’t wait for our first quiz night with a twist and to see teams releasing their competitive side along with friends, family or colleagues.
“Expect a high-energy evening hosted by the sensational Giddy Heights, packed with quirky twists, unexpected challenges and plenty of opportunities to show off your hidden talents.
“For those feeling peckish on the night, our Crazy Bear chefs will be rustling up food from our classic English menu, which will be served straight to your table.
“This is no ordinary pub quiz night. Taking place across our gorgeous 16th century pub and much-loved Thai restaurant, it’s the perfect backdrop to sharpen your pencils and get quizzing.”
The new quiz night is scheduled to run on the second Monday of each month through until 09 November, further expanding the Crazy Bear’s midweek offering.
The venue has also introduced Steak Night every Tuesday, featuring a striploin steak served with triple-cooked chips and a glass of wine for £27 at the Oak restaurant.
Meanwhile, Champagne Wednesday offers 50 per cent off all bottles of Champagne, from non-vintages to prestige cuvées and rare vintages.
Bookings can be made via the Crazy Bear website.
