Oxford audiences are in for a night of hilarity and nostalgia this autumn as Faulty Towers The Dining Experience returns to Mercure Oxford Hawkwell House Hotel.
The internationally acclaimed immersive theatre show is back in Iffley for one night only, marking 50 years since the original BBC sitcom Fawlty Towers first aired in September 1975.
On Tuesday 28 October, guests will step inside the world of Basil, Sybil and Manuel, enjoying two hours of side-splitting comedy paired with a three-course meal and followed by a lively disco.
Billed as “the world’s most sought-after show” inspired by the iconic series, the Faulty Towers Dining Experience is a fast-paced mix of improvisation, audience interaction, and laugh-out-loud theatre.

“This is the perfect way to celebrate 50 years of Fawlty Towers,” said Anuj Sagar, General Manager at Hawkwell House Hotel. “This event is always a sell-out and our guests have a brilliant evening. It will run for one night only and tickets are selling fast, so we recommend booking now to avoid disappointment.”
The show, which has toured the UK and travelled across 43 countries over the past 28 years, has been hailed as “theatre at its startling best” (Best of Theatre, London West End).
Guests can expect to be part of the action as the famously chaotic trio serve dinner with a side of mishaps, miscommunication and mayhem – in true Fawlty Towers fashion.
Tickets are priced at £50 per person, plus a £3.50 booking fee, and include the three-course dinner, the immersive show, and disco entertainment. The evening begins at 6.45pm at the boutique four-star Hawkwell House Hotel in Iffley Village.
With its blend of fine dining, interactive theatre, and one of Britain’s most beloved comedy casts brought to life, this promises to be a memorable night for comedy lovers and Fawlty Towers fans alike.
