Milton Park, the UK’s largest single-ownership innovation community, has appointed Benedicts to join CBRE as joint leasing agents, marking a new strategic partnership at the start of the year.
The 2.8 million sq ft park continues to see strong demand, having welcomed more than 40 new occupiers in 2025, bringing the total number of businesses on site to over 280 innovative companies.
As joint agents, Benedicts and CBRE will work alongside the Milton Park team to attract new occupiers while supporting existing businesses as their space requirements evolve.
Recent arrivals to Milton Park include quantum innovator TreQ, photonic-switch pioneer Salience Labs, and the well-known British retail brand Oka. Another notable addition in 2025 was Inify, a Swedish AI-powered cancer diagnostics company, which took space at the Nebula R&D mid-tech scheme.
The move marked Inify’s first laboratory presence in the UK and was one of the Golden Triangle’s largest life sciences take-up deals of Q3 2025.
According to CBRE and Benedicts, demand from similar innovation-led businesses seeking adaptable space is expected to increase throughout 2026, particularly from companies operating in fast-growing technology sectors.
The appointment comes a year after the introduction of the refreshed Milton Park Local Development Order (LDO), which enables a 10-day simplified planning process and allows up to 4.2 million sq ft of development, giving occupiers the ability to grow quickly and flexibly.
It also follows a £376 million financing deal, believed to be one of the largest single-asset transactions outside London, supporting the delivery of Milton Park’s long-term 2040 Vision.
Progress towards that vision can be seen in developments such as Signal Yard, a new amenity destination due to open in spring 2026. With 13 of its 17 units already let, Signal Yard will offer independent eateries, wellness facilities and services for occupiers, employees and the wider community.
Commenting on the appointment, Philip Campbell, Commercial Director at Milton Park, said:
“We are delighted to announce that Benedicts will join CBRE as joint property agents for Milton Park and we look forward to working with them in partnership to welcome even more high-growth, innovative businesses into our growing community.”
Tom Barton, Senior Director at CBRE, and Tom Vecchione, Director at Benedicts, highlighted Milton Park’s connectivity, planning flexibility, amenities and access to talent as key drivers behind its continued success.
