If you are heading down the A420, between Oxford and Faringdon, you might notice a new addition to the rural landscape. Nest to the carriageway, on a site formerly occupied by Little Chef, is Mollie’s – a motel, diner and drive-thru with a nod to 1950’s America. Mollie’s is different from the traditional roadside services. It offers affordable style for everyone to eat, drink and sleep over. Mollie’s is the brainchild of Nick Jones, founder of Soho House & Co which manages an international portfolio of members’ clubs, hotels and restaurants, including the high-end Soho Farmhouse in Chipping Norton.
