A brand-new creative hub is bringing a splash of colour and imagination to Yarnton Home & Garden near Kidlington. The Potting Shed Studio invites visitors of all ages and abilities to relax, unwind, and create their own pottery masterpieces.

Guests can choose from a wide range of pottery pieces — mugs, figures, photo frames, vases, and more — and paint them before they are fired in the kiln, resulting in a keepsake to treasure. All pottery pieces take up to two weeks to be fired, giving customers something truly unique to take home.

Blue Diamond Group Events Manager Rebecca Gurnett said: “Our new Potting Shed Studio is the perfect venue for all occasions from birthday celebrations and family times, to girls’ nights and first dates. It’s a chance for children and adults alike to unleash their artistic talents and create memories and masterpieces!”

The experience is accessible to everyone. Booking costs just £1, which is then deducted from the price of the pottery purchased. This means visitors only pay for what they paint, making it a cost-effective and fun day out.

For those seeking a festive touch, the studio also offers a selection of Christmas-themed pottery, including Christmas Eve plates and decorative baubles. Personalising these seasonal items offers a creative way to capture the magic of the holiday season and create lasting memories.

The Potting Shed Studio aims to combine creativity with relaxation, making it a perfect destination for families, friends, or anyone looking to enjoy some artistic downtime. Whether it’s a casual visit or a special celebration, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Bookings can be made online through the Blue Diamond Group website.
