Croudace Homes has recently launched two new show homes at its Priory Grove development in Oxford, including the first two-bedroom apartment available to view.

Carefully designed by Artspace, the two-bedroom apartment, St Frideswide, named after the local area, aims to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, appealing to mature professionals.

The St Frideswide features a spacious open-plan living area that opens to a balcony. The principal en-suite bedroom includes a built-in wardrobe, while the high-quality Omega kitchen benefits from integrated appliances. Externally, the apartments have allocated parking and EV charging points.

Katie Garwood at Artspace commented:

“In the living area, we selected furniture with a neutral base, pairing earthy colours with deep, elegant shades to achieve our goal of creating a light, warm and airy ambience throughout the home.

“Through a carefully considered use of colour, we enveloped the show home in a palette of soft nude blush, vibrant accents of yellow and rich burgundy tones that are known to be more appealing to a mature audience.

“In the principal bedroom, we maintained the general colour scheme with the inclusion of a soothing cloud-inspired wallpaper and gold accents for added opulence.

“In the guest bedroom, we wanted to carry through the relaxing, yet elegant atmosphere established throughout the home. The sage green walls add subtle interest and depth, while a carefully curated mix of colours featured in the artwork and styling brings cohesion and character to the room.”

Meanwhile, The Shipton, a three-bedroom home designed by LC Design, was crafted to deliver a modern yet playful space that would appeal to a range of buyers, including families.

The Shipton features an open-plan kitchen/dining and a separate, generously sized living room. The living area has full-height windows designed to let in natural light and French doors that open to the south-east facing garden. Externally, the property benefits from integrated PV solar panels and EV charging points.

Lydia Pollock, Interior Designer at Lydia Cherry Design, commented:

“With a bright colour scheme of blues and oranges, we designed this show home with the intention of creating a fun and playful space.

“We tend to go with more neutral colour palettes, but on this occasion, we knew we had to be bold as we wanted this show home to appeal to younger families. As we enjoyed the warmer and longer days, it was only fitting to mimic the blue skies and the warm sunshine.

“The principal bedroom features a sleek design with pops of colour running through, the second bedroom is more serene with a desk, and the final bedroom is where we see the theme of the show home really shine.

“We incorporated a bright orange American-style locker, a fun, unique addition to a children’s room. When it came to décor, we sourced most of the pieces in the home from high street stores like B&M as we wanted buyers to feel like they could replicate the design in their own home at Priory Grove.”

Stuart Elvidge, Sales and Marketing Director for Croudace North Thames, commented:

“Priory Grove has been meticulously planned and designed to appeal to a variety of buyers, so we wanted to make sure our new show homes were reflective of this. For the St Frideswide, we decided to present an atmosphere of luxury and comfort, appealing to a more mature audience of older working professionals.

Our bold and bright show home design for The Shipton has been designed to attract the younger families, the wider area often appeals to. The unique designs will be memorable for prospective buyers and demonstrate how versatile new homes can be.”

Located in St Frideswide, just half a mile from Oxford Parkway station, there are regular connections to London Marylebone in an hour and 12 minutes. There is also access to the wider motorway network through the A34 Pear Tree junction and the A40.

There are several amenities near the development, including Summertown High Street – home to Marks & Spencer, Gail’s, Tesco and Sainsbury’s – as well as North Oxford Lawn Tennis Club and North Oxford Golf. The area also boasts a number of prestigious schools, including Cutteslowe Primary School and Cherwell Secondary School, alongside the historic University of Oxford. Priory Grove includes one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes with prices starting from £395,000.
