Oxford’s Kiss Bar is set to reopen this November
Kiss Bar will ‘finally’ reopen on Friday, 26 November, after temporarily closing because of COVD-19

Kiss Bar, one of Oxford’s late-night bars, is ‘finally’ reopening in November. Friday, on 26 November, to be precise. Kiss Bar had announced earlier in the year that it was temporarily closing due to COVID-19.

The team had emphasised that it was a temporary closure with a message on the website that said: “Calling out to all our friends and customers 📣 We WILL BE BACK, just not quite yet. We assure you it’s a ‘WHEN’ not an ‘IF’!! See you soon, lots of love from the Kiss Bar team.”

Kiss Bar is an independent late-night bar located on Park End Street, on the western side of Oxford city centre.

The bar describes itself as “an immaculately furnished smart bar and nightclub with a wide selection of affordable cocktails, shots and jugs.” And unlike most other late-night bars and nightclubs in Oxford, it does not charge an entrance fee.

The bar has been successfully for over twelve years, and the premises has a capacity for nearly 200 guests.

Before closing, the bar was open on Fridays and Saturdays until 03.00am, and on Bank Holidays weekends until 4.00am. It was also possible to reserve the club any night from Sunday through to Thursday free of charge for private events.
