
The Oxford Kitchen in Summertown has been awarded its first Michelin star, with Michelin guide inspectors praising the chef’s knowledge and experience which shows in assured, well-balanced, skilfully prepared dishes.
It comes on the back of the restaurant gaining its third AA rosette.
This year also marked Raymond Blanc’s Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons in Great Milton 34th year of gaining two Michelin stars, and the Nut Tree Inn pub in Murcott, near Bicester, celebrated its 10th year of being awarded a Michelin star.
The guide also published a list of winners for the Bib Gourmand award. There were three winners of this award in Oxfordshire namely The Bell Inn in Langford as well as The Magdalen Arms and Oli’s Thai (both in East Oxford).
