Westgate Oxford is offering a packed programme of free family entertainment this Easter, with character appearances, craft sessions and themed activities planned throughout the school holiday.

Visitors can enjoy free meet-and-greet sessions on 31 March, 01 April, 07 April and 08 April, with advance booking required for entry. Five sessions will run each day, including one fully accessible session designed to support children with Special Educational Needs.

The character line up features popular favourites including Chase from PAW Patrol on 31 March, Peter Rabbit on 01 April, Zog on 07 April and Peppa Pig on 08 April.

Alongside the character events, the shopping centre’s Crafting Club will operate daily from 10.00am to 7.00pm during the Easter holidays, giving children the chance to take part in Easter-themed activities such as mask decorating, bookmark making and coaster design.

Families can also join the Alice in Wonderland-inspired Hatter’s Hunt trail, created in partnership with The Story Museum. The activity encourages visitors to search for five hidden plaques across the centre by solving clues and riddles. Completed trail maps can be returned to the Guest Experience team in exchange for a prize.

For families looking to unwind, Westgate Oxford’s ART and PLAY installation remains available, featuring colourful interactive structures including cubes, archways and slides designed for all ages.

Clare Martin said: “We know families across Oxfordshire are looking for fun events to keep the little ones entertained through the Easter holidays, so we’re pleased to offer a series of free, all-weather options here at Westgate Oxford. We’re looking forward to seeing lots of smiling faces at the centre this spring.”

The centre also continues to offer additional attractions including Sixes Social Cricket, Junkyard Golf Club, Escape Hunt and Curzon Oxford, alongside family dining options such as Nando’s, The Beefy Boys, Victors and Dirty Bones.
