Families are being urged to claim the final free tickets for Westgate Oxford’s festive character meet and greets, running every weekend until 21 December in Leiden Square.
Visitors can look forward to magical encounters with favourites including The Grinch, The Snowman™ & The Snowdog, Wallace & Gromit, and more.
All sessions are free but must be booked in advance, with information available to members of PLUS+, Westgate’s free sign-up scheme.
Each day offers five fully accessible sessions, including one tailored for guests with Special Educational Needs. Remaining dates feature Wallace & Gromit on 13 December, Elves Behavin’ Badly on 14 December, The Grinch on 20 December and The Snowman™ & The Snowdog on 21 December.

Throughout December, guests can also enjoy free live performances from local choirs, including Rock Choir and Queen’s College Choir.
Westgate Oxford will open late in the days leading up to Christmas — until 9.00pm from 18 to 23 December (excluding Sunday 21 December). The centre will open 10.00am to 5.00pm on Christmas Eve and 10.00am to 6.00pm on 26 December for Boxing Day bargain hunters.
Shoppers can support local charities by donating £3 to have their gifts beautifully wrapped by volunteers until Christmas Eve. After shopping, visitors can enjoy seasonal menus at the centre’s restaurants, including the atmospheric rooftop igloos at Victors, available to book for groups of up to eight.
