“We’re incredibly proud to be bringing some of the UK’s finest brands to Great Tew for Park Fair this summer,” said Lucy Drinkwater, Founder of Park Fair. “The classic country fair has long been part of the British countryside, and we’re excited to revive this esteemed event for the new generation. Park Fair will deliver boutique shopping, quintessential entertainment, and exceptional dining to the tastemakers of rural Oxfordshire.”
Situated in the heart of Oxfordshire, Park Fair will celebrate forward-thinking independent artisans, cherished fashion and lifestyle brands, and quintessential family entertainment. The four-day event will welcome more than 80 inspiring brands, each meticulously selected for their style, quality, and sustainability credentials.
“We’re thrilled to be part of the very first Park Fair. We are delighted to bring the RIXO experience to our #humansofrixo in Oxfordshire this summer, and what better way to do it than with our Joni bus!” said Henrietta Rix & Orlagh McCloskey, RIXO co-founders.
Grownups can get stuck into the series of workshops – led by Thyme – that promise to engage and inspire all ages. While a children’s lounge by The Modern Nursery, one of the UK’s favourite independent children’s stores, will offer children of all ages a breakaway space to play and get creative. They’ll also have a selection of their most famous indoor and outdoor toys, as well as kids’ Summer Essentials to delight little ones and parents simultaneously.
“We’ve been sharing our passion for educational, active and sustainable toys since 2015. Our kids furniture, décor, and games showcase the best Scandinavian brands that complement modern homes,” said Laura Williams, Founder of The Modern Nursery. “We’re excited to give Park Fair a taste of our treasures!”
The event will launch on Thursday, 18 August 2022, with an exclusive preview evening, where guests get a first look at the curated collection accompanied by drinks, music and VIP goodies. Guests can upgrade to the VIP Boudoir to have preferential access to the leading brand partners, a luxurious private lounge, premium refreshments from Laurent-Perrier, and luxury restrooms.
“We are so excited to be a part of Park Fair! It’s wonderful to see so many incredible brands coming together for this event. We will have a selection of the collections we are known for; Cane furniture, beautiful beaded baskets and colourful glassware all hand made throughout Africa and on display in the beautiful setting of Great Tew,” said Kate Kindersley, Owner of Hadeda.
“At Heather Taylor Home, we’ve designed many of our linens with the English countryside in mind. Bringing HTH to Park Fair and connecting with our UK customers will be so exciting!” added Sydney Bright, Brand Manager at Heather Taylor Home.
